David Points, Detroit Urban Education Examiner...
Dr. David S. Points, JD, LLM, Ed.S, Ph.D retired military, retired public school educator, has been a radio newsman and public service director. Appointed to serve as a state district court administrator and magistrate, was later elected to the state house of representatives.
Dr. Points has taught in elementary, middle and high schools (charter and public), at a community college, a four college, university graduate school and law school.
Dr. Points has previously taught "Multicultural Education in Urban America" courses to future educators at one of the nation's largest research universities. He is currently an associate professor teaching in the Education Department at a Historically Black College and University (HBCU).
Dr. Points is an expert on teaching to diverse student populations in urban school districts.
